Tax Rebate:
30% on the first €1 million of qualifying expenditure, and 25% on the remainder.

Cap (maximum benefit):
The rebate, together with other public funding for the same film, cannot exceed 50% of the total production budget (up to 80% in specific cases allowed under EU regulations).

AUSTRIA
Austria is a growing film destination thanks to the diversity of its locations: from Vienna, a cultural and architectural capital, to mountains and lakes offering unique natural backdrops. In addition, Austria provides a competitive tax rebate that covers up to 35% of eligible production expenditure.

Cap (maximum benefit):
€5 million per project.
Gender Equality Bonus
An additional 10% if the production meets specific gender equality criteria.
